Cavita began her career in the NHS as an overseas Nurse and worked in various private and NHS sectors. With a psychology background, she then undertook an executive MBA from the University of Sussex and went on to innovate services and pathways for patients.
She developed clinical leadership programmes to support the NHS workforce. She formerly led Equality for NHS England and HEE over the past five years. She is currently working on a PhD around talent management. Cavita is currently supporting NHS teams across the country. She is involved in designing and implementing a range of talent and clinical leadership programmes. Cavita has a special interest in suicide prevention and supports Olly’s future charity with specialist advice and guidance.
Cavita is also an academic supervisor at Henley Business School and supports leaders with a range of research and evaluation. She uses her time to educate clinicians on how to put practice into research, particularly for groups who feature less in the research space e.g., nurses. Cavita is a proud mother and has an identical twin sister who is an NHS director. They enjoy being twins!!
She specialises in the design and delivery of a range of interventions for the health and private sectors (inclusive leadership, talent management, equality, and clinical leadership development.
